The loss of a loved one can shake a person to their very core. And the Smith family experienced exactly that. Mike, their eldest son, was killed in a car crash a year earlier when his mother came to PortraitFlip to commission a memorial portrait for him.
She told us that he absolutely loved going on boating journeys with the whole family and gave us a picture that she had kept of him as a keepsake memory of him.
