PortraitFlip Art & Design Scholarship

A chance to earn $1000 for your passion – specifically art, design and other liberal arts’ students..

PortraitFlip scholarship is designed to help students become successful in art and design careers. If this is your passion, we are here to support you with whatever little we can. Applicants will be allowed to submit their entry along with their work – design, drawing, short film, short story, poem, artwork – literally any art that you can think of under the sky.
This program is open to anybody from the whole wide world – including commonwealth countries.

Eligibility

You are eligible for this scholarship if:

1. You are a high school student graduating this calendar year.
2. You have been accepted or enrolled in a college, university, trade school, or design school for the following disciplines.
3. Your discipline is among the following:
Arts – Fine Arts, Music, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Digital Art, Camerawork, Cinematography, Graphic Designing.
Languages – Linguistics, Literature, Semantics.
Cultural Studies – Sociology, Cultural Philosophy, History, Psychology, Gender Studies, Law.

Guidelines

Art students need to submit their favorite and best pieces of art.
This can be anything – including (but not limited to) – a painting, photograph, statue, song, animation, video, film, illustration, story, poem, or any other type of art.

Liberal Arts students should apply with a recent sample of their writing on any subject, limited to 2000 words.

The submissions open from 1st August, and the annual deadline is 30th November.
The winner will be selected by 15th December, and they will be contacted by late December.
Note: The winner must reply within two weeks, or a new winner will be selected.
The scholarship will be credited to the winner’s account after the verification of their academic records.

Acknowledgement

All information provided by students as part of the application will not be used in any way other than as part of the scholarship selection process. The information will remain confidential, and after a recipient has been selected, it will be destroyed. In addition, PortraitFlip will not own the rights to all art submitted for the scholarship.
