PortraitFlip is back with its list of 30 under 30 for June.
Now one cannot save June suns to warm winter days, but one can definitely get them hand-painted.
Which is pretty much equivalent to bringing warmth and happiness not just during winters but for a lifetime.
So, what exactly does our 30 Under 30 edition do?
It features the month’s top 30 best photos to paintings that have spread smiles in people’s lives.
Interestingly, June, just like its warmth, has brought to the front a whole new experience of watercolor portrait for me.
Although my favorite remains the oil medium, watercolor photos to paintings have made a special streak for our 30 under 30 June edition.
You must have a look at the kind of wonders watercolor can do. Keep reading for we have artistry waiting for you…
30. 99% Of German Shepherds Are Dogs…
Let’s face it, dogs deserve to be the king of the animal kingdom.
Not some stupid creature that walks on two legs and only cares about million-dollar bills.
Dogs are the best because unlike humans, they don’t love you with conditions.
They are always up to make you feel better and will give up on anything to see you happy.
A pet portrait from photo is one of the million other things that you can do to remember all the affection and warmth your dog brought in your life.
So, Tyler Clemmensen got herself an oil pet portrait of her German Shepherd. And I am pretty sure it will make her smile even in the darkest hours.
29. F Is For Family?
Jordan Vaillancourt ordered a compilation family oil portrait.
Looks like it turned out too good to be able to make it on our 30 under 30 feature.
I do want to mention that Jordan has been a wonderful customer.
Not only did she deal with us patiently but also made the entire process so smooth.
If you are reading this Jordan, I hope you loved the painting.
I also hope that this painting reminds you that it doesn’t matter where your family is, you will always remain a knot.
Cheers to a wonderful compilation portrait from multiple photos.
28. Wholesome Art
Marissa Maldonado wanted us to make this compilation portrait.
Honestly, this portrait brought a subtle smile to my face. I am not sure how they are related to each other.
They can be best friends who haven’t met for a long time. Or family.
But this oil portrait made them look comprehensive and wholesome.
As if, all the subjects are falling together flawlessly. The cherry on the top?
A custom background that Marissa chose, is surely complementing the aesthetics of the portrait.
27. Friends Forever?
Everything is possible with a custom portrait.
Jace Ottley ordered this compilation portrait for her parents.
She informed us that her parent’s friend passed away before they could take a photo together.
Rightly said, “The greatest gift of life is friendship.”
And I am sure, that even though Jace’s parents couldn’t have a memory together, this portrait will always remind them of their wonderful friend.
I hope they wake up to look at this portrait and smile thinking about all the lovely time they have spent together.
26. A Memory To Be Cherished
The loss of support, guidance, and affection can leave a person astray.
It is devasting to lose a parent even as an adult.
But a portrait can heal you in a multitude of ways.
It is proven in science that art has a huge impact on the mental well-being of a person.
Ashley Slappey got this compilation portrait for siblings.
25. The Pupper Party
Too adorable to be a painting?
Well, thanks Barry Labell who decided to get this wonderful pet portrait.
Dogs are our link to paradise, and whoever said this truly knows how having a pupper feels.
Hanging a pet portrait made from your doggo’s best photos can lighten your mood every time you come across it.
In fact, science says that looking at your dog’s portrait can fill you up with a positive mood and good vibes.
I must say that Barry did a wonderful job on this one.
24. Blur Issues? Tadaa!
Elysia Grimes wanted to get a compilation portrait of this young man and his parents.
He lost his parents in his youth and could never have a photo with them.
Nothing in life can really prepare you for the loss of your parent.
Without their guidance, love, and warmth, a person’s life can feel absolutely empty.
What hurts more is the fact that you didn’t get enough time to make memories together.
But with our compilation portrait, you can get a far-dreamt memory come to life.
Just how Elysia got his friend a beautiful way to remember his parents.
I am sure he will never feel like his parents have left his side.
23. Once A Gentleman, Forever A Gentleman
Stephen Tyler got the portrait of his dad for Father’s Day.
“Looking for a realist rendition of the image” was what he wanted.
I must say that the portrait turned out to look classy especially because of the overwhelming background.
He looks alike gentleman and I am also pretty sure he must have loved it.
22. Moo Point!
Okay, out of the many reasons, the first reason why I chose Sean Cowley’s artwork is for our 30 under 30 is…
…did you look at the heart on the calf’s forehead?
It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
If affection had a face, it would be of this calf.
Not only is the forehead but the calf has an eye that speaks volumes.
In the war of cats, dogs, and horses, we often forget about so many other animals who have the power to brighten our lives.
While going through the photos, this particular charcoal portrait caught my eyes at once.
And thereby I decided to include it in my list of 30 under 30.
21. Like Father, Like Son
…every good tree maketh good fruit. Just how every son learns to be responsible from his father. In some cases, they become the same version of their father.
Just like Shamiso Madzivire’s husband.
Shamiso wanted to gift this portrait of the father-son duo to her husband.
And it is one of the best things she could gift him. It will always remind him of how well he walked in his father’s footsteps and made him the proudest dad in the world.
Here’s to making this humble and giving love a part of our 30 under 30.
20. Comrade In Arms!
Jody Aylsworth got this artwork made in remembrance of her grandfather who was a part of the army.
What looks like a perfect rendition of comrades in the arm, this portrait made me question how infrequently do we think about the army.
A soldier joins the military with a sense of protection.
In fact, he can go to any extent to let you sleep peacefully.
Surrendering life in the fight for liberty, it is the army that takes risks and provides for the security of the country. Astounding, this portrait filled my heart with pride and gave me a sense of dependability.
Good job, Jody.
19. Don’t Just Watch It, Feel It!
Jennifer Chandler wanted to gift a portrait to her husband. Firstly, wonderful choice of gift Jennifer.
She wanted a compilation oil portrait of her husband and his grandmother holding their daughter.
Now grandparents are true blessings in our lives and without them, our home always feels a little empty. But most of the time, this source of happiness does not stay around for long.
It is hard to not have them near to play with your kids.
Although, a compilation oil portrait can definitely add colors to an empty house.
A memory that seemed a little far from true can always come true with us. I am sure it will always remind Jennifer’s husband and their daughter of their grandmother.
And if you don’t believe what a custom portrait can do, here’s a glimpse of how Jennifer’s husband reacted to the portrait.
18. Talking About Compilations…
Did you know such wonders could be possible with watercolor portraits too?
Autumn Crozier wanted a portrait of her boyfriend’s father with their daughter.
Now when our artist saw Autumn’s design, he at once recommended her to get the artwork done in the watercolor medium. To which she readily agreed.
Well, good decision Autumn.
I have seen 1000+ compilation oil portraits this year, but when I came across this watercolor compilation artwork, I couldn’t stop myself from featuring it.
Their daughter looks absolute marshmallow.
17. Throw The Hats!
Shatila Banks wanted to get a memorable portrait of a grandmother-granddaughter duo.
It is wonderful to have your grandmother by your side when you achieve the major milestones in your life.
But if you can’t, you’ll always have compilation portraits. This grandmother couldn’t be there for her granddaughter’s graduation.
And Shatila decided to give life to that memory.
I hope this portrait gives her the strength to carry on.
I hope this portrait helps her realize that even if not around, her grandmother will always look upon her.
Cheers to the magic of handmade paintings.
16. Background Ok Please?
Gina Blevins wanted to get a portrait of these four cool men.
Now when she approached her, she clearly mentioned that these guys are dirty guys.
She wanted a compilation portrait but with wood or a mountain in the background.
Anything for family, right? (Vin Diesel would have been so proud!)
We changed the background and tadaa! One of the reasons why I selected Gina’s portrait is because it gave me a sense of happiness.
All their faces, gestures, and body language fall together so well as if they were meant to complement each other.
This painting will definitely bring a smile to everyone’s face like it did to mine.
15. Cuter Than A June Bug!
Watercolor has a way to go! Another grandpa hero made it to the list.
Yolanda Torres wanted to get a compilation portrait of two grandchildren with their grandfather.
But that isn’t the interesting bit.
The photo of the grandfather was blurred and it was a challenge our artists gracefully accepted.
With a cascading bright watercolor and its translucent shades, our artists made an organic artwork of a blurred photo.
So, if you think your blur photos only mean to end up in the trash, you are wrong.
PortraitFlip will definitely make your hazy memories stand out.
Just like Yolanda’s!
14. A Gift To Remember
Jerrick Thompson wanted to get a compilation portrait for her brother-in-law.
In the artwork are the brother-in-law’s father and kids. Another grandparent’s compilation portrait.
As months turn into years, I feel so a gush of pain for all those grandkids who couldn’t get spend time on their grandparent’s lap.
But we can always make believe it for them!
At least years down the line, when these kids will look at the portrait, they will have a memory to cherish.
I personally feel the grandparent’s and grandchildren’s portraits had the strength to make all these impossible memories possible. Just with PortraitFlip.

13. Home Sweet Home
Home is not just a shelter on your head, it is a feeling you live.
Your save heaven where you make and store your memories.
A place where you grow up and become what you become. Safety that will never be trespassed or hampered.
A home completes your cycle as a human.
It is sad that people hardly honor the place that made them feel alive. And with that thought, I would like to introduce Teri Stolpinski’s idea of gifting a house portrait.
For once out of many portraits, this portrait in its truest sense made me feel at home.
12. The Tassel Was Worth The Hassle
Miah Patterson ordered a compilation portrait of Devin with his father and grandmother.
Goofy, as she calls Devin, she wanted him to have this memory for a lifetime.
Graduation is one of the most important parts of any person’s life. And having your pillars of support on this day is extremely important.
Even if there may not be a clear memory of them being there with you, a portrait will always make you feel so.
The emotion is inexplainable, but it makes you feel like you have gotten everything you ever wished for.
11. When We Have Each Other, We Have Everything!
“Make sure that everyone is happy, and everyone is in the same picture.”
These were the exact words of Kamrin McNulty. Well, I guess this is the happiest that one could look in a painting.
Until I finally found the raw images in my database, did I understand that this was a compilation portrait.
It looks so organic and real that I couldn’t believe my eyes, it wasn’t.
The photographs synced so well, that it came out to be a blanket of comfort and warmth.
Good choice of photos, Kamrin!
10. A Pretty Neat Surprise For The Mother
Aaron Tucker ordered this compilation portrait for his mother’s 69 birthday.
I often tell people that portraits are one of the best gifts to think of.
Why? Three reasons! They are timeless, unique and will always remind them of you.
While this one would definitely remind Aaron’s mother of her parents.
But she knows that you were the one to go that extra mile to make her birthday unforgettable.
09. Perfect Fam-Art!
And the perfect family portrait goes to…Jose Manso!
A house is made of four walls, but a family makes it home. A family is a gift that truly lasts forever.
And a family portrait is what holds their love and affection together.
No canvas looks as colorful and a canvas painted out of the sheer endearment of family.
And I would blindly support any person who decides to get a handmade painting of their family.
Cheers to Jose Manso’s family and to making it on our 30 under 30.
08. K9 Unit Incoming…
Abigail Brandt planned to get an oil pet portrait of her K9 unit.
Having a dog is to have heaven on earth. She has four of them!
They make your life whole and add meaning to your grey days.
It is sad how we never get enough of them when they are around. But a handmade painting from a photo will always remind you of how wonderful it was to have him around and will always leave a smile on your face.
Abigail made a wonderful decision of getting her lot into a handmade painting that she will cherish for life.
07. Crop To Size? Or A Little More?
Corinne Soares wanted to get a compilation portrait.
Once our artist received the photos, he realized that the artwork would look absolutely astonishing in a watercolor medium.
All we had to do was take confirmation from Corinne and she readily agreed to our artist’s suggestion.
Now, there you go – a beautiful watercolor compilation portrait. I never knew watercolor portraits could come out to look so real and inclusive.
06. Love At First Art!
Oscar Hernandez got this painting made, and I am assuming for his girlfriend.
Well, someone was right when he said that a painting can take your love a long way.
Most of the couples out there will have a gallery full of each other’s photo.
But this big guy got their picture hand-painted.
Art can go a long way, and I am sure that with art their love story will go a long way too.
Art for love’s sake, love for art’s sake.
Here’s to making it on our list of 30 under 30 Oscar!
05. Another Doggo?
Sharon Baird wanted to get a pet portrait of her little girl Abby whom she lost recently.
This was a dog memorial portrait to look at every day and remember her by.
Dog parents know that the journey of life becomes so much more interesting if it is with a Labrador. And it hurts to the core to watch them cross the rainbow bridge.
Rightly said, “When God was making Labrador Retrievers, he was showing off.”
Sharon, I am pretty sure that Abby is happily playing around with a stray sock in heaven and keeping the Gods crazy.
I hope that this portrait will never let you feel her absence.
04. Straight From The Horse’s Mouth
Michelle Probst ordered a horse portrait from the photo.
While people say that a great horse will change your life, very few know that the true one will define it. Michelle’s has definitely been largely influenced by this one.
In fact, every time I look at this portrait, it gives me a sense of satisfaction.
I can feel how Michelle must have been feeling when she was there with her stallion. …I guess it’s time I get myself a horse too. 😉
Cheers for making it to our 30 under 30.
03. All Hero’s Don’t Wear Capes…
…some fight in a ring.
Magdalena Ramos got this wonderful painting done.
The best part about the portrait is how the two of them carry the same passion and look on their face.
I am a bit unsure if it is his father or teacher.
Both alike, the energy in their soul and look on their face got a fire burning in me.
And before I could know, they are here on my list of 30 under 30.
02. An Art So Alike, None Do Slacken, None Can Die
Cheetah’s pet portrait was a gift to Brianna Hernandez’s girlfriend.
She had recently lost Cheetah, her dog, and Brianna wanted to gift her something to remember her with.
What made me pick this portrait? It was as if Cheetah spoke to me.
The clear sky, the beach, and a beautiful amusement part at the back, all made me feel as if this was definitely deserved a space.
It felt so comforting and close to heart. And when a painting makes you feel at home, it definitely has magical powers.
I hope this makes Brianna’s girlfriend feel like Cheetah is always around with her wet nose and goofy instincts.
I hope this portrait becomes her comfort too.
01. The Family Guy
Maya Angelou said, “I sustain myself with the love of family.”
Pretty much the vibes that Dakota Maddox’s compilation family portrait gave.
In a fast-moving world, we often forget how important our family is.
Often, we do not indulge in proper communication with them. And often, we completely avoid them overlooking all the things they have done for us.
A handmade family portrait will always remind you and your family that even if you are not together, you are always one.
And well, I am pretty happy that Dakota actually got this done.
